if a foreign person comes here to my country and doesn’t bother to learn the language after 15yrs how could they start a court case and expect it to be in their language?

The answer to that is that the case is in Croatian. All the docs the M7 sourced are in Croatian. Lloyd does what he does best and misappropriated money given to him to “save lives” on lawyers and translators.

Moving forward, with the Patrons already at historically low numbers (without even looking he’s probably at levels from 5-6 years ago), I doubt he does much more than token filings meant to only extend the case and not to get this to trial anytime sooner.

It was an incredibly foolish move to sue and esp in the manner he did - all bells and whistles, making all sorts of threats. Hardly anyone bought it, and it hasn’t had the desired effect of scaring people off from talking about him, making videos and what not. I remember a comment from him when he launched the lawsuit, which was aimed in no small part towards the posters on this forum - at least the ones he could tie to a real identity. Something to the effect of “those who have disseminated defamatory information and have yet to receive a letter…”

Still waiting for mine. Send it care/of Simon? For those who don’t know, I’m old enough to remember him cyber stalking both Simon and his wife’s LinkedIn profiles from the “JLE Translation Services” account based in Sisak. This was still when his identity was a secret.

for those still interested in lloyd's fall from grace, i made up a chart of my own.

april 2023 is when he put out his "things are bad" tin cup begging video, and he got a small surge to 592 on the 13th of that month.

i'm also using his all-time peak of 897 from november 2022.. for march, we're gonna say a modest -15, putting him at 352. i'm also curious as to when he might hit 300 and then 200. if he keeps up with an average of -20 every month, he'll be at less than 190 before the end of this year.. happy guessing everyone..

It’s a cult. Followers are conditioned on the premise that his work is so important and that he needs to be funded appropriately. This is where I first found Jabba the Hutt despicable… well, not entirely true, because I did see his real photo beforehand. Fleecing cult members on their way out for a new cause that is centred round one person is tantamount to pushing drugs outside a rehab clinic.

He’s another J.F. Rutherford - bestowing upon himself these grand titles and even had his own Beth Sarim planned in Istria. He even at one point tweeted out that he wanted to purchase a dilapidated hotel there with donations and renovate it for a supposed retreat and recovery centre for cult victims.

I strongly suspect his long term plan was to purchase the family home in Istria and deposit his family there. He would have either purchased or rented his own place in Zagreb for his “office” or “studio”. But it would have been his fuck-pad to meet hookers and online dates.

Speaking Croatian leaves him at a huge disadvantage. There are many nuances in languages one understands poorly that will go right over one’s head. Lloyd demands to be in complete control of every situation. I don’t doubt he can speak conversational Croatian after 15 years there but it must perturb him to the utmost degree that he will never be able to use his acerbic tongue in that language. His social media post in Croatian would read something like this:

“You! Marc Latham! To be a criminal in court case must turn into police then your money to me will be lost.”

In one of his begging videos stated that he was offered a job which led into his false dilemma that he might have to accept if donations didn’t improve. Well then? Donations have tanked since, so what about this job Lloyd said he was offered? Taking them up on it?

Easier explanation is that he was lying or exaggerating greatly. I can’t see him taking any job where his priorities were set by a benefactor, though I’d love to watch him refuse to work at any set schedule and constantly be taking two week long holidays when deadlines needed to be met. Whoever it was if they existed would quickly figure out how little he wants to actually put in the work.

The pattern generally has been that the more one knows Lloyd personally and how he operates, the less they like him. He has very few supporters left from the early days, if any.

There certainly are plenty of other paperbacks that cost more on the site. Can you explain?

I know I shouldn’t do this, but I am basing this off comments Lloyd had made at the time. His books are print on demand by Amazon, and he said something in his launch about how hard he worked on it and he was owed for all the time spent on it so he had priced it accordingly. You can evidently charge more, but generally people don’t want to spend that much on paperback. $29.99 USD is on the high end for print on demand and he had made a sarcastic comment to that effect when Amazon discounted it for a period of time. Think they bumped $10 off the price as some sort of promotion and he took offence because he wasn’t consulted.

The Lloyd Evans Doctrine: When a item of significance and importance to the exJW cause is out there, it is imperative to distribute this piece of intellectual property to exJWs who are in need of this "life saving work". Since Lloyd was charging the highest amount Amazon would allow even after clearing $21K in crowdfunding, he was being unreasonable. It was akin to "withholding anti-biotics in the midst of an epidemic".

What happened: Since the information contained within "The Reluctant Apostate" was crucial to saving lives, a PDF that was "not quite a bootleg" was derived from an early Kindle purchase of TRA. Copies of this file were shared and passed amongst those in need so they could take in this "nourishment" that would help them fully wake up from the manipulative power of the WT and/or Lloyd Evans.

So if you are short on funds, didn't bludgeon any seal cubs, and need the spiritual food Lloyd had provided in TRA, feel free to ask round for a copy. The exJW community had graciously compensated the writer to the tune of $21K, plus the royalties he gets from Amazon. So it belongs to the community more than him. It even "transcends" him.

Per the Lloyd Evans Doctrine, TRA exists as a free PDF.

Here’s the thing I’ve found to be true about Lloyd: he always minimises things that are detrimental to his interests. You saw it in his letters to his wife. You saw it when he managed to take several conflicting positions regarding the COC bootleg.

In the book he casually mentions that the time she caught him sexting wasn’t the first time. The impression is made that it was one other time. I don’t think that is accurate. This sounds like a long pattern of behaviour (they were married for almost two years) that she got fed up with.

The story about him shoving a letter of confession and resignation as an elder under the door of another elder is highly sus. He expressed disgust that it wasn’t the end of the matter, like he expected that the elder was going to throw up his hands and say “well that is too bad, Brother Evans has several online sexting relationships outside his marriage and no longer qualifies as an elder. Letter accepted, I will announce it next week at the KH”. Of course there was going to be a JC or at very least a series of shepherding calls.

In reality it was a much longer and complicated process than he reveals and the letter under the door story is a literary device - an allegory that he employed in order to avoid answering all those inconvenient questions. Dijana told people she had left him and fled to Croatia. This was also part of Marko’s statement.

But it was never told as such by him. She is a very private person who avoids conflict at all cost, and for some apparent reason, against his express wishes - chose a path that was destined to cause the most upheaval in their lives.

Makes sense only if she planned to leave him as it appears she did. Must have been something more involved than meaningless sexting. There was something real there, not limited to online contact.

They weren't interested in having the great Lloyd show them the error of their ways, and then make their changes while shaking his hand and thanking him for his guidance.

This is precisely what Lloyd thought when the AAWA and JW Survey websites were launched. They both issued an invitation to the GB to meet and discuss the concerns raised by him and AAWA. GB won't even meet with traveling overseers and branch members about concerns unless they were specifically asked for by the GB. Yet he felt there was a chance they might meet with a group of apostates led by him.

I don't think he wanted to leave, he was forced out and for the last 14 or so years he has pursued a vendetta against the watchtower for daring to throw him out.

Everything I've heard about the entire situation leads me to agree with that. I believe he was perfectly content with being a JW elder so long as he could live his double life and having his misdeeds covered by his dad and the elders. In fact it is right there in his book - he got caught sexting and didn't want to tell the elders, proposing to his wife that they carry on like normal. Him and "Geoffrey" had a grudge match and he wasn't ready to let it go. Lloyd was still an elder but stripped of most privileges, and he was plotting to bring Geoffrey down.

So.... 6 days ago Lloyd points his followers to this video, and so far there are only 1771 views, 81 likes and 21 comments?

I agree. I don't think people really care to hear about his shroom adventure contrary to what he had hoped. They've been round the mainstream for over 60 years now, and for 1000s of years in indigenous communities.

Is he going to smoke a joint on the next video and describe what he's feeling?
